ALPD® is a solid state laser light source that can reach full power virtually instantly when turned on. No waiting for warm-up, as is the case with traditional lamp-based projectors. Power off is also instantaneous, with no need to wait for light engine to cool. Recovery from event, operator error, etc., is quick and carefree.
